Pumps! Pumps! Breast Pumps For Everyone!

Reading Time | 5 minutes

I've got great news, and I am so excited to share it with you!

The waiting period has been a challenge because I've had to wait until everything was official to announce but now that it is...

If you have Tricare insurance and are in need of a breast pump, monthly pump supplies, or other pregnancy/postpartum supplies, I can now help you out with that!

Now before I get on how great breasts pumps are, I want to remind you that it's not a required part of your human milk feeding journey. Personal pumps can be a super convenient tool during separations or when there are transfer issues, but outside of those situations, nobody HAS to have a pump.

Heck, even in those situations, personal electric pumps may be considered a convenience rather than a necessity. However, I figure that just depends on who you ask.

Hand expression was my go-to technique for the few times expression was necessary at home but admittedly being able to rely solely on hand expression is a privilege not everyone is afforded.

The point is, pumps are great tools to have but are not required.

For those of you who want or need a pump to reach your human milk feeding goals, here are all the essential things you need to know about getting a pump through me.

  • Tricare covers one breast pump per birthing event for service members and their families

  • Tricare covers 36 months of pump supplies delivered to your doorstep each month or until your child's 3rd birthday, whichever comes first

  • You can start receiving your pump supplies at any time even if you've already received your pump through a different company

  • Need different sized flanges, replacement tubing, or a couple of extra membranes? I’ve got you!

As a veteran and military spouse myself, I know that working with health care providers and insurance can be a real pain. Also, being military families, we tend to move often which can pose challenges if you're getting your supplies through certain companies.

One of the benefits of using our company Military Mommies to get your supplies is that I will be your contact point, and I do all the work for you. Getting the pump is painless, you know who you will be working with directly, and I am way more accessible than the corporate customer service centers that other companies have.

Not only that, we offer a wide range of pump brands. We carry the following pumps:

Ameda Finesse

Spectra S1

Spectra S2

Lansinoh Smartpump

Ardo Calypso To Go Pure

Medela Freestyle

Medela Pump in Style Advance (Backpack and tote versions)

Unimom Minuet

Ameda Mya

Having more options may mean more confusion for some. It can be hard to sort through all the features of the various pumps to find what meets your needs the best.

I can help you with that!

Not only do I have demo pumps of most of the brands on hand, but we can also take the time needed to explore each of the pumps individually, so you find the one you WANT.

Some companies carry only a few models, and other companies send you a pump without really understanding your wants in needs. There are many great pumps on the market but pumps, just like shoes, are not one size fit all. And like shoes, you've got different types for different needs.

I love me some "pumps," but I would hate to get sent high heels if I needed a pair of sneakers!

Yes, I suck at analogies!

The process of getting a pump is super easy!

Assuming that we connect during business hours, within a few short minutes we can check your eligibility and get your order placed. To place the order, we will need a prescription from your doctor, but even that is a breeze. Just download this form and take it to your next appointment.

Once your order is placed, if you're local to me here in Monterey, California (or within driving distance) and I have the pump on hand, you can have your pump and your supplies the same day.

If you don't live locally to me, you can expect your pump and initial supplies to arrive at your doorstep between 5-7 business days.

If there are any questions, the only name and number you need to know is mine!

That's one of the perk of working with me to obtain the pump. But wait, there's more!

Imagine working with a lactation professional who knows the pump you're using inside and out, can quickly get you the parts you need to remedy any issues and has a vast depth of knowledge of breastfeeding and lactation!

Maybe it's just my excitement, but I can see the benefit of working with one person for all your human milk feeding needs. In this scenario, there is no need to work with 2-3 people to get on a path to success.

Last but not least, my favorite little perk…

I will be giving out $15 gift cards to the first 25 people who order pumps and the first 25 people who provide referrals that result in pump orders. Additionally, those people will be entered into a giveaway for a special surprise once I reach 50 orders.

It may be cheesy to do a giveaway, but I figure it's a great way to pay you guys back for supporting me! The pump and supplies are at no cost to you, and the little extra is something that you can't get with other companies!

If you have any questions about how to get your FREE pump through Tricare or if you're ready to get started with the ordering process, you can click this link and shoot me a message or give me a call at (210) 763-0548.
